You Go Ask! is created by Jason and Ali, elementary school teachers in San Francisco, California.

About Ali

Ali Nakaji is a 4th grade teacher who loves helping kids find their voices and believe in themselves. In her class, every idea counts! You’ll read awesome books, ask big questions, try new things with a growth mindset, and work as a team. She believes school should be a place where every kid feels seen, heard, and totally valued—like the amazing humans you are!

About Jason

Jason Parmele didn’t plan on becoming a teacher—he kind of tripped and fell right into it—and he’s so glad he did! In his class, you get to make choices, take charge of your learning, and do cool projects that actually matter. He always says all he needs is a whiteboard, an Expo marker, and a bunch of awesome students… then the fun begins! When he’s not teaching, you’ll probably find him playing with his two sons (and maybe letting them win… sometimes).
